PENNYWISE REIMAGINED

Jonna McKechnie (Model/MAC MUA) reimagined as Pennywise in custom GWG lace costume. 

Every 27 years IT comes back. Every Halloween, we choose our favourite looks to reimagine with a GWG twist. Jonna (MAC Makeup Artist) always puts such a great spin on her favourite scary looks. This year when we told her we couldn't resist doing Pennywise, we had no idea what Jonna had in mind for makeup. "Raw, but Glamorous" as Jonna described the look. Jonna chose to reimagine Pennywise as a sexy out-of-this-world entity who has watched IT one too many times. Instead of using paint to create her look, Jonna used special makeup FX to create the look using fake blood and scabs from Spirit Halloween. For her hair, she used LimeCrimes "Neon Peach" Unicorn Hair spray.

Jonna reimagined as Pennywise 2017, costume created by Estee at GWG SHOP.

As for the costume, Estee at GWG SHOP created this lace look using a vintage lace bodysuit paired with custom lace harem pants paired with just the right amount of white ruffles. Inspired by the early Victorian style of Pennywise 2017, Estee created a custom off-white waist corset using recyclable materials to tie the whole look together.  

For location, what better place to take Pennywise photos than in our very own city, Hamilton, Ontario, where much of the new #ItMovie2017 was actually filmed. Felicia at GWG was responsible for set location, and chose this creepy tunnel where trains pass by in the North End of Hamilton.
